This is a remix CD that was done for a contest January 2008. When deciding my approach I took into consideration that Jay-Z always compares himself to Frank Sinatra so I wanted the sound to have the feel of a live show in Vegas (See Roc Boys). I also wanted it to sound as though Jay was actually flowing over my production and not as though I simply cut and pasted his acapellas over beats that I already had. All of the production was made from scratch for this specific project.
